Securely attach your Airstream's interior door handle with Upstream Outfitters' Interior Door Handle Retention Pin Upgrade Kit. A common problem among some Airstreams from 2024 and newer is that the interior door handle's retention pin can shake loose and eventually fall out. This kit solves this problem, and comes with everything you need to install our new and improved pin easily yourself.

This is the ABSOLUTE BEST way to fix a problem that shouldn’t exist. Having the pin migration in two different trailers was a problem. Tried locktite, Peening nothing worked reliably.
This kit is super easy to use and should finally fix the issue permanently. I also recommend adding the spacer kit at the same time to fix the “other problem” not being able to tighten the screws without the door mechanism binding.
